First Horseback Ride at Ava's House

Thanks to our good friends, Trevin and Kristie, Brock and Indie(also known as "Hollywood", she loves those glasses) got to go on their first horseback ride this weekend. They did not even hesitate to jump on and go on a ride around the pasture. They loved it!!!

Brock, Indie and Ava posing for a picture(not their idea)...do you think they might all be 2 years old?

Blogging Hiatus

<

OK so here us what I have missed in my hiatus from blogging for the last few months. Easter, summer fun, growing kids, Indie and her accessorizing, and a few trips to Bear Lake.

I don't know where the summer has gone, but the twins will be two next week. They are so fun, talking, playing, fighting, running, laughing and of course throwing fits. They love to travel and go places, swim, ride 4 wheelers, play outside and Indie is a little obsessed with swings. Brock continues to be my mellow kid, thank goodness one of them is mellow.

An Apple a Day

So I left the room for a few minutes and walked in on Brock eating an apple. I thought to myself "isn't so cute and such a good eater." But then I thought how did he get that apple off the counter? Then I remembered Dustin saying something about a "smooshy" apple and throwing it away this morning!!! It took me just a few moments to realize my son is a garbage digger!

Brock's Latest Antics

Brock is really coming into his own lately! He loves Indie's flower barrettes and thinks he should get to wear them too! (Maybe I should be worried?) He takes them right out of her hair and tries with all his might to put them in his hair, he has not been successful yet, thank goodness.

He also LOVES to give hugs and kisses, especially to Indie. So much so, that he often knocks her right down. She thinks this is hilarious, so far. On Sunday, he started to give all the girls in nursery hugs, some liked it and some did not. He got plenty of pushes, but kept at it. I guess we need to teach him to "play hard to get."

They really love each other...I wonder when it will all change?

Kauai, Hawaii 2009

The Downsides to Kauai 2009

Two trips to the doctors office for croup and ear infections.
Plenty of blood, raspberries and tears from constant falling and tripping.
Two 18 month old toddlers running opposite directions in the airport, at the beach and everywhere else.
Waking up at 2:30am Hawaii time, only for a few days!

The Upsides to Kauai 2009

The beach.
The weather.
The North Shore of Kauai.
Being all together as a family for a whole week!
Plenty of chickens and roosters to chase (DoDos according to the kids).
Loves donuts for everyone but me!
Pineapple and a lot of fruit.
Macadamia nuts.
A Marvelous Gluten Free Bakery with the best muffins and cookies I have had since being diagnosed with Celiac Sprue.
The kids did awesome on both flights, despite delays and being sick.

Overall the trip was really fun and really hard, not a real vacation but a real family trip. The kids loved being there and so did we, it is my favorite place to go! But I do have to say that our next trip just might be without the kids!

Resilient Solutions

If you have seen the link to Resilient Solutions on the corner of my blog...this is why.

I am actually going to take a big leap and start working in a private practice! Which means I will have to learn to market myself and find my own clients. I thought about doing this about a year ago, but I didn't feel ready until now.

I am going to continue with LDS Family Services one evening a week and join with Resilient Solutions a few hours a week. I am so excited to start at Resilient Solutions, all the therapists there are amazing! This is going to be a great experience for me.
